Through the lens of local history, the Chester County Historical Society tells the story of America's past.  We teach through the power of historic objects - the letters, diaries, tools, toys, photos and furnishings of days gone by.

Whether exploring our extraordinary museum with its hands-on history lab, or welcoming us into your classroom, our programs help teachers fulfill Pennsylvania curriculum standards.  Our  interactive programs are taught by enthusiastic and experienced eduators who engage your students and spark their curiousity.

“The program was phenomenal and the kids had a wonderful time.  I had two separate comments that this was the best field trip they had ever been on. Please extend my thanks to your staff, the society, and of course all the volunteers. I hope we can continue to build a relationship and have many more wonderful experiences at the museum.”
